The Center for Education Accreditation
- Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-CEA) is supported by The
International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education
(INQAAHE) to conduct a training course to improve the capacity for designing
training programs with Outcome Based Education (OBE) for the assessors and lecturers
for Vietnam and Laos.
The INQAAHE Secretariat
assigned VNU-CEA to be the coordinator for this training within the funding
framework in collaboration with the University of Nottingham - Malaysia and the
External Quality Assurance Agency - Lao Ministry of Education and Sports.
The course will be held
from July 2023 to April 2024, and will be separated into two phases. Phase 1: online training for 07 days (from July 24-29, 2023 and August 1, 2023) for auditors and lecturers selected to participate in the project. Phase 2: the selected auditors and source lecturers will train/advise other lecturers at the educational institution they are working for. At the same time, the project's experts will work directly for 3 days in the first quarter of 2024 with all learners. Trainers are experts from the University of Nottingham (Malaysia) and Vietnam.
To be a participant in
the training, the participant must commit to: Attending the 7-day online
training in Phase 1 (24/7-1/8/2023) and the 3-day onsite training in Phase 2 in
the first quarter of 2024; have a good command of English to ensure communication
and performance of tasks in the course; at least 05 years of teaching or
management experience in higher education institutions; currently or will work
as an auditor/assessor or has participated in the VNU-CEA's auditor training and
courses.
